Pay Package
$2,000 – $2,100/week (based on experience)
Requirements
Registered Dietitian (RD) with an active Ohio dietitian license
2+ years of inpatient clinical dietitian experience
Hospital-only background required:Client will not accept candidates whose experience is outside of a hospital setting
Bachelor's degree in Medical Dietetics and/or Nutrition (or equivalent)
What You'll Do
Under the direct supervision of the Director, the Clinical Dietitian will plan, direct, and provide nutritional care to patients and support clinical nutrition services, including:
Conducting nutrition assessments and documenting per established guidelines
Interviewing patients/families to gather food habits and preferences to guide diet plans
Reviewing medical records for pertinent information and charting after each patient contact using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Nutrition Care Process
Calculating diets for diabetic and other modified diets, providing diet counseling as needed
Assessing and calculating enteral and parenteral feedings
Reviewing cycle menus and diet manual prior to implementation
Serving as a clinical nutrition resource for foodservice staff to ensure accurate diets per documented orders
Participating in community nutritional programs
